Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions seeks a skilled Field Service Technician II (Heavy Line) to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites and in our shop. You’ll work hands-on with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will travel to customer locations, conduct preventive maintenance, and participate in an on-call schedule, contributing to our 130-year legacy of integrity and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years repairing heavy equipment or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license; certification on at least 65% of the designated product line.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform hands-on repairs.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, major repairs, and basic welding.
• Deliver dependable service at customer locations and in the shop; maintain records.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA/DOT requirements; support team.
