Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a skilled Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of construction and utility equipment at client sites across Texas. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and ensure accurate documentation of all work orders.

Occasional travel to customer sites is required. Qualified candidates will have strong knowledge of mechanical systems, own a toolset, and the ability to work outdoors

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining construction equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, emissions, diesel, gasoline, and record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all company equipment, including rented and leased units.
• Repair and service diesel engines and hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical components such as motors, bearings, belts, and drive assemblies.
• Read and apply information from manuals, prints, and schematics.
• Maintain accurate work orders and documentation daily.
• Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required.
