Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Field Service Diesel Engine Technician / Mechanic to perform in-field repairs and rebuilds on engine products.

You will develop productive customer relations and apply documented procedures to complete repairs, schedule maintenance, and prepare parts and tools. The role requires significant field service experience, EV and power generation knowledge, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and DOT considerations.

Qualifications

• Significant field service work experience.
• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• DOT considerations and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field.
• Develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt attention to customer needs.
• Apply documented procedures to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including parts/tools.
• Complete required documentation (work, time sheets, warranty claims, quality forms).
• Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report issues.
