Job summary

R.W Mercer Co. is seeking a Service Compliance Technician to perform required inspections/testing to ensure fueling and monitoring equipment at client sites operates properly and containment sumps are watertight.

Training is provided, along with a company vehicle, tablet and cell phone, plus a competitive benefits package and career growth opportunities. Position requires travel, valid driver’s license, and ability to work in varied weather with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able and willing to travel and stay out of town.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Familiarity with operating a computer and an aptitude for learning computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
• Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
• Complete assigned compliance testing and submit all paperwork/forms in a timely manner.
• Communicate with all customers, fellow employees, and inspectors in a professional manner.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles, supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Any other duties or responsibilities, assigned.
