Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Kenosha, WI to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair biomedical devices. You will install, calibrate, and test new equipment, documenting all actions per guidelines, and providing technical support to medical staff.

The role requires at least two years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. On-site, full-time with a 40-hour week and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.
• Installs, calibrates, and tests new medical electronic devices and systems.
• Escalates to appropriate staff/vendor resources as needed.
• Documents inspections, repairs, and tests with accurate records.
• Mentors entry level biomedical technicians and students.
