Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Apprentice to start a long-term career in the compressed air industry. This entry-level role works alongside experienced service technicians and managers to gain hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment startups.

The apprentice will assist on two-person field jobs, help clean equipment, and learn to adjust controls while developing a solid foundation in technical service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
• Entry-level role requiring eagerness to learn and build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Assist on two-person field jobs with technicians and field service managers.
• Learn preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with equipment startups and adjusting controls.
• Prepare service reports and travel arrangements following standard work.
• Travel to field sites as needed and support equipment cleaning.
• Conform to EH&S policies and company standards.
