Job summary

The SEAMAP Trawl Survey Scientist positions at Lynker in Pascagoula, MS support NOAA Fisheries' SEFSC and SEAMAP programs. You will participate in large-vessel groundfish trawl surveys, process biological samples, manage survey data, and contribute to scientific products and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Participate in large-vessel groundfish trawl surveys.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide logistical support for surveys.
• Process trawl catches and identify species.
• QA/QC of survey data.
• Support data analyses and prepare data summaries.
