DIRECTV, LLC is hiring Installation Technicians to install, test, and repair satellite equipment across the Burlington and Dubuque service areas in Iowa. The role emphasizes customer-focused service and accurate order handling throughout on-site installations.

Responsibilities include climbing to install equipment, working outdoors in all weather, driving a company vehicle, and educating customers on DIRECTV services. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Availability for day, evening, night, overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends, and holidays.
• Possible travel, overnight stays, and manual-gear vehicle operation.
• Drug test, security check, and background check may be required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and in non-heated/non-air-conditioned environments.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and not exceed 275 pounds for ladder-climbing assignments.
• Must meet Premise Technician Assessment and Physical Ability Evaluation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and service satellite equipment at customer sites and on ladders/raised surfaces.
• Use company PC to retrieve and complete orders during installations.
• Educate customers on DIRECTV services and assist with video-service billing.
• Work outdoors in all weather and follow safety procedures.
• Drive company vehicle and report to job sites as required.
