Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Tactical Integrated Ground System (TIGS) and related DoD missions. This role involves hands-on deployment, integration, testing, and sustainment across depot, lab, field, and operational environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SATCOM, strong problem-solving, and the ability to train government customers and teammates, with TS/SCI clearance and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of DoD SATCOM/field engineering experience.
• Hands-on deployment, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex systems.
• Experience with TAC/SATCOM systems, RF distribution, and troubleshooting.
• Experience authoring or updating maintenance procedures and docs.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS and liaison with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, installation, integration, setup, and checkout of TIGS and related systems.
• Provide field engineering support to diagnose and restore mission-critical communications.
• Perform RF/electrical/network testing and verify signal paths against requirements.
• Validate depot-level refurbishment, configuration, and readiness.
• Develop and deliver technical procedures, maintenance instructions, and training materials.
• Coordinate with Government customers and vendors to resolve issues and provide guidance.
