Job summary

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking a Field Sampling Technician in Sparta, NJ. The role involves collecting and testing environmental chemistry and bacterial samples for the Northern and Central New Jersey Region.

You will support on-site testing, manage sample chain-of-custody, and coordinate routes while adhering to safety policies and client confidentiality. Strong organization and communication are essential for daily client interactions and data recording.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the Tri-State Area for client sites.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide sample collection and testing services for environmental chemistry and bacterial samples.
• Complete assigned routes and provide containers to clients.
• Perform on-site testing when required and record data.
• Maintain a daily activity log and document chain-of-custody reports.
• Follow company safety policies and site-specific requirements (OSHA).
• Drive and comply with traffic laws, report on vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
