EMSL Analytical, Inc. in Sparta, NJ is seeking a Field Sampling Technician.

The role involves collecting environmental chemistry and bacterial samples across Northern and Central New Jersey, with duties including driving a company vehicle, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety compliance. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, travel across the Tri-State area, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior knowledge of field sampling and/or laboratory experience is preferred.
• Must be willing and able to travel via company vehicle to various client sites throughout the Tri-State Area.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be good with directions/using GPS.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks/deliveries.
• Must have excellent communication skills and a good attitude; daily interaction with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide sample collection services to FDA Detention, Well-Water, legionella and environmental chemistry.
• Provide technical support to clients as needed.
• Complete all assigned routes.
• Furnish sample containers to clients.
• Record all data and complete sample chain of custody reports.
