Field Sales Representative (NextGear)

NextGear, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive for North Florida, specifically in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, or Ocala.

The Senior Client Solutions Executive (SE) is an outside sales role focused on developing new business within a defined territory. Responsibilities include achieving target volumes in applications, activations, revenue, and promoting NextGear Capital’s products and services. The SE maintains relationships with auction general managers and collaborates with Portfolio Managers to exceed goals.

What You’ll Do:
  • Educate customers on all NextGear products, including inventory financing and ancillary services.
  • Develop a sales plan within the market and build a prospect list through cold calling, referrals, and follow-up.
  • Conduct weekly cold calls to generate new relationships.
  • Follow up promptly on leads and increase loan volume through service calls.
  • Re-engage inactive dealers to increase utilization of their Line of Credit.
  • Meet monthly targets for applications, loan development, and sales.
  • Handle initial underwriting and monitor applications through the credit process.
  • Contract and onboard new customers and manage their experience during the first six months.
  • Promote ancillary products and develop relationships with auction staff and customers.

Who You Are:

A motivated self-starter with charisma, integrity, and respect. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Preferred qualifications include bilingual skills (Spanish), 5+ years outside sales and portfolio management experience, and industry experience in finance or automotive sectors.

Additional Requirements:
  • Pre-employment drug test required, with policies on marijuana use specified.
