Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience working with the public sector market, including State and Higher Education entities across North Carolina.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software across the public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) for Public Sector, you will work with our Public Sector accounts related to different public entities across North Carolina. You’ll leverage experience engaging with executives to build on existing relationships, establish new ones, and act as a business partner to understand our customer's challenges and goals. You will advocate for the innovative power of our products and solutions to make public organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range depends on work location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share specific details during the hiring process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence their long-term technology and business decisions as a trusted advisor.
  • Becoming an expert on customers' business, including SaaS portfolios, technology strategies, growth plans, and market landscape.
  • Leading account strategy to identify business growth opportunities, collaborating with teams and partners to maximize impact.
  • Managing complex business cycles, presenting to C-level executives, and negotiating terms.
  • Driving business development, operational excellence, forecasting, and achieving strategic goals by guiding customers through the business cycle.
