The Representative Field Sales role is responsible for selling Nestlé products into retail/commercial establishments within a specific retailer/commercial grouping. This role will cover a Salisbury, MD territory and ideally the candidate should live within 50 miles of Salisbury.

Key Outputs and Deliverables

  1. Product (40%)
  • Sell in incremental items
  • Close distribution/new item voids and secure secondary displays.
  • Ensure POG compliance
  • Address and correct OSA/OOS as identified through SRE
  • Placement (25%)
    • Validate POG compliance
    • Place POS and IRCs when requested
    • Ensure correct product mix at non-POG retailers.
  • Promotion (15%)
    • Meet and/or exceed all promotional sales goals by selling in price reductions, displays, local events, POS, digital activation, IRCs, etc., for all assigned accounts, including indirect HQs
    • Ensure compliance with all headquarter promotion plans by pre-selling, up-selling display quantities, and capturing incremental displays/sales opportunities
  • Administration (15%)
    • Attend and participate in all meetings as directed by your leader.
    • Review weekly deployment and prepare needed info to complete each activity
    • Review Power BI reports to monitor results and address opportunities
    • Ensure accurate and reliable completion and submission of data and reports
    • Adhere to safety policies and laws while driving to deployment locations
  • Communication (5%)
    • Post successes, competitor activity, and market insights to Workplace
    • Build trust and relationships with customers virtually and in-person
    • Record all required information into the Nestlé Mobile Sales Application
    • Manage the overall Nestlé relationship, including store deployment and execution
    • Conduct regular business reviews with store leadership
    • Share best practices, solutions, and insights across the team
    • Communicate market activity and insights to Sales and Account Management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Associates/Vocational/Technical)
    • 1-2 years of successful Retail Sales and/or Consumer Goods experience preferred
    • Valid driver's license required
    • Industry/Retail knowledge preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Open-mindedness towards new approaches
    • Ability to recognize obstacles and involve others to resolve them
    • Leadership ability through team collaboration
    • Quick learner of role and responsibilities
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Initiative with minimal supervision

    The approximate pay range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. This estimate may vary based on background, skills, and location.
