Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner

Position Overview

The Field Sales Representative (FSR) is responsible for executing approved sales programs to meet or exceed sales targets for GC products. This includes maintaining current customer relationships, developing new business, and increasing sales within an assigned territory. The FSR will work closely with dealer partners to secure merchandising and promotional support, and will execute sales strategies under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Planning: Develop and modify quarterly activity plans for the district, aligning with corporate goals.
  2. Sales Process: Sell GC products to major accounts, maintain existing accounts, and develop new business. Stay informed on customer policies, competitor activities, and regional/national market trends. Travel required.
  3. Performance Management: Maintain and analyze sales data using CRM and Business Objects to identify opportunities and ensure sales objectives are met.
  4. Dealer Management: Support dealers with planning, advertising, merchandising, and training to ensure successful promotion of GC products.
  5. Administrative: Keep customer databases updated and complete all reports and requests promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in cold-calling and sales negotiations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook
Travel and Territory

Approximately 30% overnight travel within the territory of St. Louis, Cedar Rapids, Quad Cities, Peoria, and Carbondale. The sales representative must reside within the territory.
