Job summary

Penn Jersey Diesel & Trailer is seeking an Outside Sales Estimator in the Bensalem, PA area. This field-based role drives revenue for body shop, paint, and mechanical services by prospecting fleets, managing accounts, and delivering detailed repair estimates.

The candidate will conduct on-site damage assessments, negotiate with insurers, and coordinate handoffs to shop teams, with strong emphasis on accuracy and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prospect and close fleet accounts.
• Strong relationship-building with fleet managers and insurers.
• Experience preparing detailed repair estimates for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of body, paint, mechanical scopes and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new fleet, owner-operator, dealer, and insurance-partner accounts within the territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with fleet managers, maintenance directors, insurance adjusters, and dealer service teams.
• Grow revenue within existing accounts through follow-up, service reviews, and proactive account planning.
• Represent Penn Jersey Diesel & Trailer at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as needed.
• Conduct on-site inspections of damaged trucks and trailers; prepare complete, accurate estimates.
• Photograph and document damage for internal teams, insurers, and customer files.
• Negotiate estimate revisions, supplements, and final scopes with adjusters and customers.
• Ensure estimates align with actual repair time, parts, and labor.
