Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide product and technical guidance to Sales Representatives and customers. You will collaborate with the sales team to market and sell Comcast’s product lines and advise on current network situations.

In this role, you’ll work with moderate guidance in your area, supporting field projects and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical leadership and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in networking and security is valued.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs needs analyses and designs cost-effective solutions.
• Provides timely technical support and problem resolution.
• Supports sales with product modifications and engineering input.
• Assists customers in evaluating and selecting products.
• Creates and reviews product test plans and reports results.
• Recommends products to meet customer needs.
• Exhibits independent judgment in decisions of significance.
• Maintains reliable attendance; may include nights/weekends.
• Attends weekly sales meetings with the Sales Manager.
• Lives near the sales territory to support in-person visits.
• Other duties as assigned.
