Field Sales Account Executive/Altair - Dallas, TX

Position Overview

Apply for a remote role based in Dallas, TX, working full-time with a focus on customer retention and new business development within the employee benefits and healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide proactive service to existing accounts through in-person or telephone contact, ensuring annual sales targets are achieved.
  2. Develop and execute tailored business plans for individual accounts, resolving administrative issues such as membership, literature needs, and billing.
  3. Identify opportunities for new and ancillary product sales, collaborating with team-based Account Executives.
  4. Represent the company at benefit and enrollment fairs as needed.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and contacts within client organizations.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to clients.
  7. Complete administrative tasks like activity reports, expense reports, and sales planning promptly.
  8. Use sales automation tools for inquiries, record-keeping, and reporting.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in customer service and account management, preferably in employee benefits or healthcare/insurance sectors, with established broker relationships.
  • Proven ability to meet sales and service goals managing numerous accounts via in-person and phone interactions.
  • Knowledge of underwriting, healthcare products, and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 70%, with a clean DMV record.
  • Residence in the Dallas, TX area is required.
Additional Information
