The ideal candidate will have OSHA 500/30-Hour credentials, NFPA 70E training, and hands-on safety leadership experience, with 85% travel including overnight stays. A valid license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of field safety experience, solar/electrical/roofing preferred
• OSHA 500 and OSHA 30-Hour Construction certifications required
• NFPA 70E training
• Valid driver''s license with a clean MVR
• Ability to travel 85% for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead safety on-site as the field safety technician, driving safety culture.
• Hold safety and training sessions for operational leadership.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Deliver OSHA-mandated safety training and manage certifications.
• Lead JSA/JHA processes and safety stand-downs on projects.
• Perform on-site observations and implement corrective actions.
• Coach crews through safety conversations and issue resolution.
• Support safety equipment program and fleet safety initiatives.
