Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to implement the site safety program on a designated project. You will educate staff in safety requirements, enforce policies, and collaborate with customers and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates are journeyman level with 3–5 years of industrial maintenance/construction safety experience, holding OSHA 30 certification. This is a full-time, on-site role with field duties and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Safety Technician with 3–5 years of experience.
• Must hold current OSHA 30 card/certification.
• Ability to build relationships with customer reps and project staff.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site safety program on an assigned project.
• Educate and train Austin project staff in safety requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Create accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Assist in staff safety training and subcontractor development.
• Represent company professionally with customers and subcontractors.
