Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician for Eastover, SC. This on-site, full-time role focuses on executing the site safety program, training staff on safety requirements, and ensuring compliance with policies. Much of the work is in the field with coaching and auditing.

Candidates must be a journeyman Safety Technician with 3–5 years of experience and hold OSHA 30. A medical and background check are required; 40 hours per week; no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial safety.
• Journeyman Safety Technician status.
• Must pass medical and background checks.

Responsabilités

• Execute site safety program on assigned project.
• Educate and train staff in safety requirements and incident prevention.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Create safety reports and assist in investigations.
• Assist in staff safety training and subcontractor development.
• Represent company positively with customer and subcontractors.
