Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Journeyman Safety Technician to lead site safety on assigned projects. You will educate staff, enforce safety policies, and work closely with customers and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.

Role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance/construction safety, OSHA 30, and the ability to operate in field conditions with PPE. 40-hour workweek, with no per diem or relocation support.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Safety Technician with 3–5 years of experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Able to train and develop staff in safety.
• Strong field observation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site safety program on the assigned project.
• Educate and train Austin project staff in safety requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Spend majority of time in the field observing, coaching, auditing safety.
• May fill in for the site HSE manager during absences.
