Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Safety Technician to join our HSE team in the United States. The role emphasizes field work and hands-on safety program support across construction projects, with focus on inspections, incident analysis, and risk mediation.

The candidate should have OSHA/70E and FA/CPR/AED training, able to lift 50 pounds, and be prepared for 40-hour weeks with possible overtime in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with construction exposure.
• 3+ years on construction field/craft tasks and safety awareness.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction or equivalent safety certs required.
• NFPA 70E training and current FA/CPR/AED certification.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct jobsite HSE initiatives and programs.
• Assist inspections and document safe/unsafe practices.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Assist in risk planning and PTP process with crews.
• Learn and apply project safety policies and client requirements.
• Communicate with Nox personnel, partners, visitors, and vendors.
• Provide first aid within training limits as needed.
• Support field HSE department needs and meetings.
• Engage in site and crew meetings and safety reviews.
• Spend about 90% of time in the field or supporting field ops.
