Job summary

Corbins, part of Nox Group, is hiring a Safety Technician to join the HSE team on construction sites. You will help implement safety programs, conduct inspections, and support incident investigations while promoting a culture of care and compliance.

We require a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in construction, OSHA 30 or equivalent, NFPA 70E, and FA/CPR/AED training. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 40 hours, with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of construction field/craft experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour for Construction, STS-C, or NCCER Field Safety.
• NFPA 70E trained.
• Current FA/CPR/AED certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the project’s HSE initiatives and programs.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and document safe and unsafe practices.
• Participate in incident investigations and causal analysis.
• Assist with risk planning, recognition, evaluation, and mediation.
• Understand and apply project HSE policies and client requirements.
• Communicate with Nox personnel, trade partners, visitors, and vendors.
• Provide first aid as trained.
• Support the needs of the Project HSE Department.
• Attend site and crew meetings.
• Spend 90% of time in the field or supporting field ops.
• Overtime and shift work may be required.
• Safety sensitive position with drug test and background check.
