Job summary

Nox Group seeks a Safety Technician to support field-based health, safety and environmental programs on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects across the United States. The role emphasizes field presence, incident reporting, risk assessment, and ensuring adherence to HSE policies.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, FA/CPR/AED, and strong communication skills to collaborate with craft and supervisory teams in demanding

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic construction work practices.
• Good written and verbal communication (grammar, spelling).
• Ability to interact with craft and supervisory employees.
• High level of integrity for reporting incidents and events.
• Ability to understand HSE plans, standards, etc.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the project’s HSE initiatives and programs.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and document observations.
• Participate in incident investigations and causal analysis processes.
• Assist employees and crews in risk planning and assessment.
• Build knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with personnel, visitors and vendors.
• Provide first aid as necessary and within training.
• Support the needs of the Project HSE Department.
• Engage in site and crew meetings.
• Spend 90% of time in the field or supporting field operations.
