Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to support field safety on a designated project, educating staff and ensuring adherence to safety policies. The role emphasizes hands-on field coaching, incident prevention, and collaboration with customers and subcontractors.

The position requires OSHA 30 certification and 2 years of maintenance or construction experience, with full-time field availability and pre-employment screening. Occasional site coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification (OSHA510 preferred).
• 2 years of maintenance and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site safety program on an assigned project.
• Educate and train project staff in safety requirements and incident prevention.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Build relationships with customer representatives, project staff and subcontractor safety personnel.
• Assist in creating safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Fill in for the site HSE manager during absences.
