Job summary

APTIM is seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental (HSE) specialist to support development, implementation, and administration of prevention programs affecting employee and public safety. The role involves field oversight on high-hazard activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1, and coordinating with site management and regulatory bodies.

• Ability to perform complex duties with advanced techniques.

Responsibilities

• Independent professional judgment for phase/component of tank cleaning project.
• Resource for line management to implement proactive prevention program.
• Provide daily field safety oversight for high-hazard activities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations.
• Conduct compliance evaluations of equipment, structures and work in progress.
• Prepare and review technical reports and procedures.
