Job summary

Hohl Industrial Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Site Safety Coordinator for a six-month assignment on an active project site in New York.

This field-focused role will promote safe work practices, conduct inspections, and support training and orientations in collaboration with project leadership. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction-related safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable safety regulations.
• Ability to read and write effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day safety professional on the assigned job site.
• Participate in job planning meetings and help incorporate appropriate safety measures into daily work activities.
• Work closely with project leadership to promote proper use of equipment and PPE.
• Assist with accident and near-miss investigations.
• Identify and communicate safety concerns, hazards, and non-compliance to safety leadership.
• Provide practical, field-based recommendations to address safety hazards.
• Deliver weekly safety talks and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate owner-required orientations and training programs.
• Verify training attendance and documentation required for site access.
• Perform regular safety inspections and field observations; document compliance.
