Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking a Safety Advisor to join our team in Santa Teresa, NM. The role focuses on planning and implementing safety policies to meet OSHA and DOT requirements while reinforcing a proactive safety culture.

The Safety Advisor will lead training, perform site inspections, and support HSE program development. Candidates should have OSHA 30 or related certification, strong communication skills, and familiarity with tracking software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years related experience (power line construction preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification and/or safety certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning/training to fill safety gaps and deliver programs.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of job sites for compliance.
• Prepare reports of findings and corrective actions.
• Support communication with employees, officials, and subcontractors.
• Develop and enhance HSE programs and assist in post-incident investigations.
