Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking a Safety Advisor to join our team in Santa Teresa, NM. This role focuses on planning and implementing safety policies in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations, reinforcing a strong safety culture across the division.

Responsibilities include training field personnel, conducting inspections, auditing sites, and ensuring timely incident reporting. A high school diploma and 2 years of related safety experience are expected; OSHA 30 is preferred with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years related safety experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or related safety certification preferred.
• Understanding of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tracking software.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Deliver safety training and field tailboards to crews.
• Prepare incident reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support HSE programs and post-incident investigations.
• Communicate clearly with employees, supervisors, officials, and subcontractors.
