Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Engineer to protect workers and the public on our world-class projects. The role enforces our Safety and Health Policy and applicable standards, partnering with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all tasks.

You will drive the safety culture, review crane and other safety plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and deliver ongoing safety education across the site. This is a hands-on, on-site role on active construction projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction safety experience with a safety/health degree or related trade experience.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
• Proven training and experience in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners, and the public.
• Enforce safety programs and federal/state/local standards.
• Lead reviews of crane, confined space, and Job Action Analysis plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely submissions of required docs.
• Identify exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Understand project schedule and Contract Documents.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
