Job summary

Logisticus Projects Group is seeking a Safety Specialist II to serve as field safety expert for Warehouse, Transport, and Engineering operations. This role maintains a strong field presence, leads complex investigations, and represents the company in interactions with clients and regulators in the Director's absence.

The position requires coordinating across multiple sites, enforcing safety programs, mentoring staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while traveling up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/related field.
• ASP certification with CSP path required or anticipated.
• Strong written and verbal communication under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review investigation reports and corrective actions for regulatory adequacy.
• Lead complex safety investigations and publish comprehensive reports.
• Maintain field presence across multiple sites and respond to incidents promptly.
• Represent the company in OSHA/state inspections when needed.
• Develop and deliver safety training and investigate root causes.
