Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Field Safety Representative II to promote the company's IIF culture, spend 100% of time in the field, observe and coach coworkers on correcting unsafe conditions, and support safety, quality, and productivity on projects.

The role may supervise lower level safety staff; requires a Bachelor's in safety-related field and OSHA 30 within 3 months, plus 2 years of concrete construction and safety experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (safety related major) and a minimum of 2 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 hour certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Company’s IIF Culture by bringing a safety resource on the project.
• Assists in project compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
• Assists with or conducts case management.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Participates in training/certifications.
