Job summary

Orion is seeking a Safety Intern to join its HS&E team in Houston for hands-on exposure to construction safety practices, field operations, training, and regulatory compliance across marine and heavy civil projects.

You will assist with inspections, data collection, and safety documentation while learning OSHA requirements and safety management within a large construction organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in safety or related field.
• Interest in construction safety careers.
• No prior construction safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field safety inspections, observations and audits.
• Support preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly safety reports.
• Help collect and analyze safety data to identify trends.
• Assist with safety plans and emergency action plans.
• Support safety orientations and safety trainings.
