Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is offering a Construction Safety Intern position that places you with safety and project teams on active construction sites. You will observe safety programs, assist with field activities, and learn how hazards are identified and mitigated in electrical construction projects.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, site observations, and collaboration with safety professionals to promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Safety, project, and field teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in an active construction/jobsite environment.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Prior construction or safety experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting safe work practices and working conditions on active project sites.
• Participate in jobsite safety observations, inspections, and compliance audits.
• Support site-specific safety orientations and training activities.
• Learn how project teams identify hazards and develop strategies to help prevent workplace injuries and incidents.
• Assist with safety documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Work alongside project and field teams to understand how safety is incorporated into planning and day-to-day construction activities.
• Gain exposure to applicable company safety programs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field safety support for projects and activities as directed by the Safety team.
