Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Safety, Health & Environment Manager to lead field safety with a hands-on approach, coaching co-workers and safety reps to correct unsafe conditions.

You will embed with project teams, observe in the field 90% of the time, and influence SQP through leading indicators and positive reinforcement. The role requires a safety-related bachelor's degree, 4+ years of concrete construction and safety experience, and OSHA 500 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in safety related field and a minimum of 4 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of a certificate in a related field, or construction experience with OSHA 500 training certification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Company's IIF Culture by Being a Safety Resource to the Project
• Assists in Project Compliance with all Safety Rules and Regulations
• Conducts Job Site Case Management
• Oversees the Work of Direct Reports
• Ensures a Safe Work Environment
• Participates in Training/Certifications
