Job summary

EQT Corporation is seeking a Safety Coordinator I/II/Sr for upstream production operations. You’ll partner with field teams to drive a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable safe, efficient work.

This role focuses on field safety support, incident investigations, training, risk assessments, and coaching contractors. Travel across EQT’s operating area with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with upstream oil and gas projects and 3rd party contractor management.
• Strong verbal and written communication with public speaking and data reporting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently and with teams; valid driver’s license; on-call flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide field level safety support for upstream operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks with stakeholders.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training to contractors and operations personnel.
• Analyze safety performance and track improvements through action plans.
• Build relationships with Operations, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in RHA’s, MOC’s, PSSR’s, pre-job assessments, and SIMOPS meetings.
