Job summary

Ampacity, LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead on-site safety programs across clean energy projects. You will coordinate field operations, management, and safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

The role requires up to 75% travel to job sites, with 3–6 month on-site assignments depending on project scope. The position offers an hourly rate of $28–$30 plus per diem, reflecting hands-on safety leadership in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with safety training and certifications.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction safety coordination with OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and incident investigation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize across departments.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred CSP/ASP certification, solar/renewable energy experience, OSHA 501 Trainer, or First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety programs across multiple project sites to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard analyses to prevent incidents and maintain safe conditions.
• Support incident investigations and coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as primary safety liaison between field operations, management, and project teams.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and maintain documentation for audits and citations avoidance.
• Manage emergency response procedures and post-incident protocols.
• Coordinate safety training programs and safety culture initiatives.
• Monitor safety metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
