Job summary

Old Dominion Group Inc. is seeking an entry level Safety Coordinator to be an on-the-ground safety professional supporting daily field operations and reinforcing a strong safety culture across active construction sites.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to ensure compliance with safety policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards. This role suits someone who enjoys fieldwork and proactively addressing hazards in real time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years construction or safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist with daily jobsite safety walks and hazard assessments.
• Enforce company safety policies and site-specific safety plans.
• Monitor PPE compliance and proper equipment usage.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.
• Maintain safety logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Coordinate safety training for field employees.
• Ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance with site safety requirements.
• Partner with project leadership to address unsafe conditions.
• Support OSHA compliance and assist during safety audits or inspections.
