Old Dominion Group is seeking an entry level Safety Coordinator to actively support daily field operations and reinforce a strong safety culture on active construction sites. You will work closely with Project Managers and field crews to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory standards.

This role suits someone who enjoys being in the field, interacting with crews, and proactively identifying hazards in real time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• 0–2 years of construction/safety experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety walks and hazard assessments.
• Enforce safety policies and site-specific safety plans.
• Monitor PPE usage and equipment safety.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.
• Maintain safety logs, inspections, and compliance records.
• Coordinate and track safety training for field staff.
• Ensure subcontractor and vendor safety compliance.
• Collaborate with project leadership to address unsafe conditions.
• Support OSHA compliance during audits and inspections.
