Job summary

Corr Safety Professionals seeks a Safety Professional to join our on-site team serving the Greater Philadelphia region. This role may be full-time or project-based and focuses on day-to-day safety oversight at client worksites to ensure compliance and a strong safety culture.

You will conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and monitoring, lead safety trainings, and contribute to program development and incident investigations. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Health & Safety and EHS knowledge including regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Experience with hazard recognition, risk assessment and exposure control in field environments.
• Ability to deliver engaging, interactive safety training for construction and general industry audiences.
• Accident investigation skills including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Certification such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP or equivalent safety credentials are beneficial.
• Experience in field safety services and safety program development is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Safety Professional is a full-time or project based, on-site role based in the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State region. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day safety oversight at client worksites, including conducting hazard assessments, inspections, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The Safety Professional will lead and facilitate safety training sessions, support the development and implementation of health and safety programs, and engage with supervisors and workers to promote a strong safety culture. Daily tasks include participating in pre-planning meetings, completing safety documentation and reports, conducting or supporting accident and incident investigations, and recommending corrective actions. The role involves regular interaction with clients to align safety practices with project goals and to help maintain incident-free operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge, including regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health, including hazard recognition, risk assessment, and exposure control in field environments.
• Candidates should possess experience in Safety Training, with the ability to deliver engaging, interactive sessions for construction and general industry audiences.
• Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root cause analysis, documentation, and development of corrective and preventive actions.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or equivalent safety credentials are beneficial.
• Experience in field safety services (e.g., industrial hygiene monitoring, drug and alcohol testing, OSHA incident investigations, pre-plan development) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in construction or general industry safety roles and a valid driver’s license for travel to client sites is preferred.
