Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. in Nevada is seeking a Field Safety Specialist to promote a positive safety culture and support construction management activities on a Nevada project.

The role requires at least 5 years of safety experience, an associate degree in Safety or Construction, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally. Travel and background checks required; MSHA training and certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar safety role.
• Ability to present project progress and safety results to clients in public settings.
• Associate degree in Safety or Construction or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors complete safety training per client standards.
• Review and approve Contractor’s Safety Plan submittals.
• Verify MSHA certifications and documentation for contractor personnel.
• Monitor safety plan compliance, safety meetings, site inspections, and investigations.
• Assist in developing health and safety training materials and deliver training.
• Maintain safety records and monthly statistics (hours, medical aid, LTIs).
• Obtain and maintain relevant safety certifications (MSHA CPS First Aid, etc.).
• Ensure project safety standards compliance.
• Generate meeting minutes and daily field/material reports.
• Present safety plan progress and interim reports to clients or stakeholders.
