National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks an RV/Specialty Appraiser to support field operations across the Sacramento, CA territory. You will assess and estimate damages on RVs, motorcycles, trailers and commercial vehicles to support timely claim resolution.

Strong specialty vehicle estimating experience and field work interest are essential to grow with National General within a robust insurance network.

Formación

• Experience in estimating specialty vehicles (RV, heavy equipment, trailers) is required or preferred.
• Strong field estimating background with knowledge of policy types and claims processes.
• Ability to negotiate settlements and document all activities in complex files.

• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities

This territory includes, Sacramento, CA, San Jose, CA, Santa Rosa, CA, Modesto, CA and San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will assess and estimate damages on RVs, motorcycles, trailers, and commercial vehicles, helping ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Field Adjuster Sr Cons I: $35.82 - $50.24per hour

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
