Job summary

Allpoints Surveying is seeking a field-based Rodman/Instrument Man and/or Party Chief in Tampa, FL to perform surveying and investigations of land surfaces, providing precise measurements as a single crew member when needed.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of handling equipment and data processing in variable outdoor conditions. A company truck and expense card are provided to support field operations.

Qualifications

• Must have field surveying experience and ability to collect data on-site.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as a single crew member or leader.
• Valid Florida driver's license or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data using GPS and surveying instruments.
• Produce field notes and sketches showing accurate field conditions.
• Use technology to collaborate with other departments.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks.
