Job summary

Glacier is hiring a Field Service Technician to service deployed robotic systems across the East Coast and Midwest. After an onboarding period at Glacier's San Francisco HQ, you will operate in-region with significant travel to customer sites, performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations to maximize robot uptime.

Ideal candidates bring an engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience, strong electromechanical skills, and comfort with on-site customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years troubleshooting electromechanical equipment in the field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across East Coast and Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on deployed robotic systems.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose issues and return robots to service quickly.
• Installations, upgrades, retrofits, and hardware improvements across the fleet.
• Basic network and connectivity troubleshooting to bring units online.
