Job summary

Aerones is seeking Field Robotic Operators to join the U.S. Operations Team. This hybrid role blends drone inspection work with hands-on wind turbine field technician duties, traveling to wind farms across the country.

Responsibilities include operating robotic systems for turbine maintenance and inspection, data management, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Paid training on OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, and GWO courses is provided for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• Experience operating robotics systems in field environments.
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work and heights.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work 100% on site at windy locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic systems for wind turbine cleaning, inspection, and repair.
• Perform routine turbine inspections to ensure safety and performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize energy output.
• Diagnose faults with advanced tools and document findings.
• Record work performed and upload data to company servers.
• Adhere to safety standards and site-specific policies.
• Complete tasks with accurate reporting and communicate risks to relevant teams.
