Job summary

HireArt is seeking a hands-on Robot Service Technician to support production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots in the West Lafayette, IN area. You’ll assemble harnesses and sensors, perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and travel for onsite support.

The ideal candidate has experience in automotive/manufacturing settings, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical components.
• Comfortable working in field environments and lifting heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for self-driving robots.
• Install and replace sensors such as LiDAR and cameras.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnose breakdowns on the robot fleet.
• Travel between local locations to provide onsite support.
