Job summary

DataScan is seeking a Field Risk Specialist to perform floorplan inventory audits across automotive, equipment, and powersports dealerships within an assigned territory, with field-based travel in Phoenix, AZ. You will verify inventory, review dealer records, and identify discrepancies to support risk management and inventory accuracy.

The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate audit results to clients.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed (3–5 nights per month).
• High school diploma or GED; college education preferred.
• Prior experience in floorplan auditing or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with authorized dealership personnel to research and determine missing inventory status.
• Review and validate dealer records and supporting documentation for sold, missing, damaged inventory and off-site collateral.
• Verify MSOs and vehicle titles for accuracy.
• Accurately record inventory status and audit findings using a mobile device audit application.
• Document dealership visit details and audit observations.
• Review audit results with dealership personnel in a clear and professional manner.
• Communicate audit results, dealer conditions, and potential risk exposure to client representatives.
