Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations across the southeastern United States. The role supervises crane operations and guides team members to correct positions on concrete structures.

Responsibilities include directing crane use, measuring locations, setting pads/shims, and ensuring safe, high-quality assembly of panels and frames. Requires a high school diploma or GED and prior concrete finishing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete required.

Responsibilities

• Directs crane operator and guides crew to proper locations.
• Measures member locations and sets vasco pads or shims.
• Guides members to location using hand signals.
• Places clamps on wall panels and assists welding into position.
• Drills holes in foundations, secures braces, and ensures plumb columns.
• Burns loops, places beams and tightens connections with grout.
• Assembles and relocates crane; performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions:

Directs crane operator and guides members to proper location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
• Measures member locations, sets vasco pads or shims (depending on members being set).
• Guides members to location while directing crane operator with hand signals.
• Pries members with a railroad bar until member is in correct location, putting additional shims under member until plumb.
• Places pipe clamps on wall panels until panels are welded into position.
• Drills hole in foundation, hammers red in hole, places column support brace over red-head, bolts the brace to the foundation and column and then plumbs the column with the transit.
• Burns loops off the tops of columns, set beams on top of columns and bolts beams into position and fills bolt connection with grout.
• Helps assemble, disassemble and relocate crane.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications or Qualifications Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
