Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products and set up displays in large volume stores. You will move products to the sales floor from backrooms and use equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.

The role involves customer interaction and maintaining organized backrooms. Responsibilities include following procedures, inputting orders on handheld devices, building store-level relationships, and maintaining consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multiple stores.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift and move cases weighing 20–45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, etc.).
• Deliver customer service (communication, rapport, attentiveness to needs).
• Operate with minimal supervision (self-managed role).
• Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
